2012 Terroir Run Runners

It’s hard to believe that our PEC run has come and gone! Last Sunday’s event was wonderful! We started with a bang at The Old Third with 76 runners joining us for our run in incredible weather (a very warm day for the end of May). The post run lunch at Norman Hardie’s was a huge hit “best post run food ever!” was heard from more than one of our runners. Cynthia’s spring salad was delicious and the pizza’s were perfection. The wines from participating wineries, brews from Barley Days and cider from the County Cider Co. were flowing! We wanted to thank all of the volunteers who made this day possible: Peter, Diane, Peta, Greame, Jillian, Hannah, Samantha, Cynthia and Heather. We know that Norm had a bunch of friends down helping him – a big thanks to them, as well as all of our winery partners. To the folks at Closson Chase, The Grange of PEC Winery and Karlo Estate – your water stations were greatly appreciated! To our lead van, follow van and shuttle bus supporters – thank you to the County Cider Company, Barley Days Brewery and Sandbanks Vacations. We’re already making plans for 2013 so stay tuned
