Like the Hayloft? You’ll Love this County Barn Party!

Did you know that many of our runners make the Terroir Run a full-weekend experience. Further a large number return annually as we find that most are not just here for 10K but rather to connect to a unique community. This year we’re introducing a new opportunity to do just this, the Back to the Start Barn Party.

Apart from a chance to reconnect, share run stories and get another serving of local food & drink, this event will be extra-impactful. Why? Well it’s called Back to the Start because the dinner is hosted in The Old Third’s historic barn where our run begins and it’s a chance to give something back to the owners who have been with us since the beginning. The difficult news is that Bruno Francois, the winemaker and our annual race starter, has been diagnosed with lymphoma and so all proceeds from the evening will go towards hiring help to support the vineyard and winery operations while they focus on getting Bruno healthy. In County tradition let’s gather not in sadness but as a community. We’ll honour the vineyard’s work and the larger spirit of craft and hospitality found from Consecon to Waupoos and all acres in-between. Please plan on joining us to eat, drink, dance and give back.
