Karlo Estates Joins The Terroir Run Team

Although not one of the original “Hillier Nine” that our runners will pass on the course Richard & Sherry from Karlo Estates winery have confirmed they will be setting up a special water station at the corner of Benway & Greer to hydrate and cheer our runners into the final stretch. (Please note The Grange Estate Winery are generously hosting the other water station at the gates to their Closson Road winery) We cannot say enough great things about their commitment to our event and the Prince Edward County community – everything they do, from making inspiring wines, to the programming for visitors to their winery (Quintus and Van Alstine Port should be tried), is done to engage and delight each guest. Knowing their reputation for exceeding expectations leads me to believe our runners will turn that last corner with a “fifth” wind. It should also be noted that Karlo Estates has joined the Terroir Run Passport offering our participants and volunteers a free tasting of their products – this is a nice gesture although we’ve heard that visitors who sing them a song already received a free taste!
